Chalk Mural Critique
1. Explain your experience working on a team and executing your ideas for the mural.
The chalk mural was very interseting project. It was fun to be able to work with other people, becasue it would have been very difficult to do this on my own. we all worked together. we listened to each others ideas and helped each other out. everyone put alot of effort into these murals, and they turned out really well.
2. Explain the importance of collaboration when working on a team.
we all have to listen to each other's ideas, because its not just one person's idea. Each person added to mural. Morgan, Sydney O. and I worked on the background, while Heather and Sydney shaped the wings and added color. Sometimes we made a mistake with the color or background, but we were able to fix it and get back to finishing.
3. How successful was this project? Explain how and why.
I think this project was successful, but i wouldnt do it again. It took alot of time, and it was messy. one day we had alot of rain and it washed away a few of the murals, so that made several groups have to start their's over again. I did enjoy it, but it was nice just to try it once. The amount of wall everyone used also used up all the chalk.
4. Explain how you feel about creating artwork that others can interact with. Ex. Invoving the whole school?
I thought it was fun to do some of the interactive artwork. At times, some of the poses look real. people had fun taking pictures and posing. It made me feel good that people could interact with my artwork other than just looking at it, and i think interactive art work left more of an impression.
